Christine Domegan, B. Comm, MBS, PhD is a Visiting Professor, Florida Prevention Research Center Fellow and Head of Marketing and Senior Lecturer at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Christine researches Marketing in Society and Change, using social marketing, systems and complexity theories, value co-creation, and stakeholder engagement at population, community and individual levels, through a multi-disciplinary lens with partners in the UK, Europe, USA and Australia.
Her EU and national funded research work (€6.5+ million) embraces health and environmental projects including HSE Flu Vaccination, EU Ocean Literacy, EU Seas and Oceans in Public Health and EPA/HSE Blue and Green spaces. Recent publications appear in the BMJ open, Trials, Marketing Theory, Journal of Marketing Management and the Journal of Social Marketing. Christine is co-author with Professor Gerard Hastings of Social Marketing; Rebels with a Cause 3rd ed Routledge, UK (2018). Christine is also the European Editor for the Journal of Social Marketing.
