Nancy Lee has more than 30 years of professional marketing experience, with special expertise in Social Marketing, Marketing in the Public Sector, Marketing Research and Strategic Marketing Planning. She is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Washington where she teaches social marketing. She is President of Social Marketing Services, Inc., a small consulting firm in Seattle, Washington. She conducts seminars and workshops on social marketing and marketing in the public sector and has participated in the development of more than 200 social marketing campaigns, including ones for CDC, the World Bank, EPA, US AID, and the Washington State Departments of Health, Transportation, and Ecology. She has been a guest lecturer at Stanford, Capetown South Africa, Yale, and Oxford and has been a keynote speaker on social marketing in 12 countries outside the U.S. In 2012, she received the Philip Kotler Social Marketing Distinguished Service Award.
Nancy has coauthored nine books with Philip Kotler including Social Marketing: Influencing Public Behaviors for Good 4th Edition, Sage Publications 2011. They are currently updating this text which will be published later this Fall, 2014. Last Fall, 2013, her 10th book was published, coauthored with Sameer Deshpande: Social Marketing in India, Sage Publications, India.
